Emily and the belly!

I was delighted when Andrea of http://www.byandrea.com invited me on her most recent maternity shoot.  I was so excited when I met Emily.. not only was she the sweetest happiest and most adorable person I have met, her round belly was practically perfect.   As photographer’s we couldnt have asked for a more perfect day.  The sun was shining and it almost felt like summer had officially arrived!

I can’t wait for the arrival of Baby Hannah, and the opportunity to be part of her upcomming newborn shoot.

Baby B {Brayden James}

After Liz’s beautiful maternity shoot Alissa and I were more then extatic for the arrival of Mr. Brayden James. As usual Alissa was amazing with her swaddling skills and Brayden was such a cute and sleepy little model.. I loved every moment we spent capturing his adorableness (ya its not a word i know lol)

Congrats to my dear friend Liz.. You are already a great mommy and Brayden is the cutest little peanut. I can’t wait to be around to watch him grow 🙂

2011 resolution.. a little late

As you may have noticed I may be the worlds worst blogger.. So this years resolution (slightly late) to spend more time working on my blog updating it with new pictures and a little story to go along with the images that I captured.

Please be sure to hold me accountable for my “resolution” I expect emails if you see my facebook page updated and not this blog. 🙂

Julius James (JJ) 11/26/2010

I have waited 9 long months for this peanut to finally arrive just so I could take his picture. I must say it took a lot of patience, and poor Jen had to do a lot of feeding but we managed to get some CUTE shots. Being my first newborn experience I honestly didn’t realize how much time actually goes towards taking a newborn’s picture from the initial set up to the posing and all the props but, you have to admit those little baby hats are sooo cute!    It was a truly an eye opening experience me and I can’t wait to do it again!

All in all it turned out to be a great shoot and a great time.  I can’t wait for the next chance I get to capture the cuteness of JJ behind my lens.

Hello world.. here I am

Well here I am, I finally broke down and set up a blog…

For as long I can remember, I have always been the “Wo” man behind the camera; carrying my little sony cyber shot where ever I went shooting anything and everything..  So one day it dawned on me why not take my passion and turn it into a job an that I enjoyed  {eureka}.. I went and bought my first DSLR a Nikon D60 in April of 2009, while the camera itself was pretty good I will say “if I only knew then what I know now” I would have skipped all the mediocre cameras and went right for good stuff.  It may have saved me a few dollars 🙂

So 3 cameras and a couple thousand dollars later… here I am with my pretty bad ass Nikon D300s perusing a great hobby and what seems to be a promising side profession.  A BIG special thanks to the people *you know who you are ;)* who helped me grow and learn the ropes as well as those who put up with me snapping pictures in their face 24/7.  I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.
